Emily Quek was cloned during one of the summer months not so long ago. While engineering the assassination model, officials realized that they had neglected something very important. The island needed Tour Guides. And so many engineers dropped their work on the assassination unit to get the high priority project underway. The assassination unit was too far along not to be completed first, but the Tour Guide model was ready within a few months. The Tour Guide Model was the first of the cloning series that utilized the technology of embedding knowledge into the clone. No longer would clones need to be trained. When they became conscience, they could be put straight to work. Emily was the first Tour Guide to be created. She contained all the knowledge about the history of P&D, blue prints of the compound, and had personality traits that would make her friendly and personable. At seeing this new oportunity for fun, Chao-Hso could not resist. He secretly changed the information to be given to Emily before she was cloned. He gave her inacurate schematics about the island and compound formations. He may have glamorized the history of P&D a bit, but that cannot be determined at this point. He dicided it best to keep her friendly but decided it might be interesting to take away her personableness. And so Emily was created, trying to make friends, but in general failing miserable. She was the only person on the island who got lost daily. She cried and cried when all the newer more up-to-date Tour Guides made fun of her. It was a few years before she came to know why she was the deformed freak of nature that she was. She has had such a spite for Chao-Hsi since then, that if she were able to find her way to his office, she wouldn't know what she would do.
