Chao-Hsi Lee was 5 years old when he first started Hacking into government facilities. When he was 15 he bought an island online with some money he found laying around some Swish Bank account. A few years later Chao-Hsi hacked his way into a few of the more prominent geneticist labs and downloaded all their files. He constructed his first cloning tank in his garage out of some spare car parts and bought a few hundred gallons of genetic material over the net. Chao-Hsi first met Sean Takenaga at a poker game. He lost his island to Sean while trying to bluff. In an attempt to win back the island, Chao-Hsi lost again and became Sean's indentured servant for life. When Sean joined P&D, Chao-Hsi came on as a part of that deal. One day after Chao-Hsi had been working with P&D for a few years, he was mysteriously assassinated on Jirafa Island with a giant cork screw. As the assassin fled, Chao-Hsi managed to use the last of his strength to clone himself. He dumped his own body in a dumpster and read in the paper the next morning about a John Doe ending up in the county dump. He couldn't help but smile and decided to be called John from then on. He also couldn't help but consider the possibility that he was no longer Sean's servant based on a technicality. Since he got a lot of perks, like free self-cloning he didn't wish to risk losing his job and so kept quite about it.
